Ryan Howells, 30, from England realized he has a dad bod. -

He decided to do something about it. -

Weighing 14st, with a height of 5ft10, Ryan was overweight from eating too many curries and cakes. -

In November 2014 he left his home in Cardiff weighing 83kg, but returned six months later weighing just 60kg, and was dangerously thin. He tells how his mum picked him up from Cardiff airport, saying how she was horrified to find him "looking like a skeleton". Ryan decided to regain his weight and started eating accordingly. -

But he decided this year he has to get fit for his girlfriend. -

Howells took photos of his transformation. -

He used newspaper to prove the date of taking the pics. -

Ryan entirely overhauled his diet, eating only fresh foods and proteins, except for Jaffa Cakes which he couldn’t bear to lose. -

Ryan also goes to the gym twice a day six days a week for two hours, where he splits his time between doing weights and cardio. -

However, his dedication has taken a toll – as girlfriend Michelle often feels that their relationship has to be fitted around his gym routine. -

While his girlfriend loves his new body, she doesn’t like how much time it takes him to work on it. Ryan added "Michelle’s really impressed with my transformation and say I should be proud but hates how much time I spend in the gym. It is hard to get the right balance." -

Although she does prefer his new body, Ryan jokes she enjoys his abs, but does miss the softness of his dad bod. Loosing 33 lbs by healthy eating (having one cheat food even) and exercise doesn't sound so bad, doesn't it?
